Colonel Brandon Seth Bennett is currently the Deputy Director, Cyber Acquisitions & Technology Directorate (J9), USCYBERCOM, Fort Meade, Maryland. In this capacity, Colonel Bennett directs the actions and efforts of military, civil service, and contractors to develop, coordinate, and synchronize cyberspace capabilities across Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, military service
components, and inter-Agency Headquarters to ensure that USCYBERCOM’s capability, research, and development priorities are consistent with the nation’s operational priorities.
Colonel Bennett was born in Pisa, Italy and raised in Erwin, Tennessee. He entered the Air Force in 2002 as a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and has since been assigned to a wide range of Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Acquisitions, and Space positions. Before assuming his current position, he was the Chief, National Military Command Center (NMCC) Operations Division, Joint Staff Support Center (JSSC), Pentagon, Virginia. He is married to Mrs.
Julie Bennett, and they have 2 children named Kaitlyn (12) and Oliver (5).
