Shawn Kelly is Chief in the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) Automations Branch in the Defense Information Systems Agency’s EIC Directorate. In this position, he is responsible for leading development of testing automation tools and web applications.
Within JITC, Kelly served as the special projects engineer responsible leading the first testing capability for Net-Enabled Weapons. As the branch chief for Fort Huachuca Testbeds, he hosted many large-scale testing venues such as the Enterprise Challenge and Defense Interoperability Communication Exercise. He also served as the branch chief for JITC Command and Control Systems and as the test officer for the National Capitol Region Integrated Air Defense System.
Prior to joining DISA, Kelly worked on several large-scale projects to include the Combat ID Interoperability Demonstration (1997), the Joint Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (1995) and the Reverse Engineered Joint Interoperability Evaluation System (1992), which included successful nationwide Government Acceptance Testing following installation.
In 2017 Kelley was selected as DISA’s Outstanding Testing Professional of the Year.
