Profile
Dickey Rounsaville is chief of the Transport Services Plans Branch in the Defense Information Systems Agency’s Terrestrial Transport Services Directorate. In his current position, Rounsaville plans and orchestrates the resourcing and sustainment activities required to evolve the Global Network Infrastructure supporting the Department of Defense. He synchronizes capability delivery across a myriad of transport services projects delivering the warfighter terrestrial and transport services, enabling warfighters to connect and access mission resources from any device, anywhere on the globe. He also serves as the co-lead for the DOD’s Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control Transport Working Group.
Prior to his current role, Rounsaville served as the deputy program manager for DISA’s Multi-National Information Services, managing coalition services that included All Partners Access Network, Combined Enterprise Regional Information System, Combined Federated Battle Laboratories Network, Pegasus, and the Virtual Data Center. Additionally, he served in the DISA command center for five years.
Prior to his arrival at DISA, Rounsaville was as a computer scientist and project manager at the Joint Systems Integration Center, U.S. Joint Forces Command, where he initiated, planned, and executed command and control and intelligence projects. He also served in the Air Force for 21 years as a communications officer and a missile facilities specialist on the Minuteman Weapons System.
Rounsaville graduated with distinction from the Naval War College in 2011. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Great Falls where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a certified project management professional and Defense Acquisition University program manager (advanced).
