Profile

Gregory K. Bush is currently the Branch Manager for the Strategy and Transformation Branch of the Knowledge Management (KM) Division of the Joint Staff. He and his team are in the process of drafting the Joint Force policy for KM, while providing comprehensive KM support to the Joint Staff. Prior to joining the Joint Staff, Greg served 32 years in the United States Army, spending most of that time as an Army Aviator. Army Aviation was a natural segway into Knowledge Management, and while still in uniform, Greg started building a Knowledge Management program for the National Guard Bureau Joint Staff before moving over to the Pentagon. Greg has a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He currently resides on the Virginia side of the National Capital Region with his wife and two of his three daughters.
