Profile

Mark Long is the Division Chief for DoD Enterprise Mobility at DISA. He is responsible for all aspects of DISA’s Unclassified and Classified Enterprise Mobile capabilities for the Department of Defense including Cost, Schedule, Performance, Planning, Resourcing, Contracting, Acquisitions, Engineering, Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity, Test and Evaluation, Architecture, and Process. Prior to this position, he served as the Systems Engineering Branch Chief for DoD Enterprise Mobility and the Systems Engineering Branch Chief for Global Command and Control Systems – Joint (GCCS-J). He is a retired USAF Communications Officer, whose 20 years of service include 4 years of direct presidential support with the White House Communications Agency and multiple in-theater deployments supporting Operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Long spent much of his Air Force career supporting Air Operations Centers. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer and Information Science and a Master’s of Management from Troy University. Mr. Long is Project Management Professional (PMP), DAWIA Systems Planning Research Development and Engineering Level III, and Program Management Level II certified.
