  • Thinklogical Achieves U.S. Department of Defense DISA JITC DoDIN Approved Products Listing (APL) Certification for TLX Series KVM & VDS Products

Secure Signal Extension and Switching System Approved for Use with DoD Networks

MILFORD, Conn. -- Thinklogical, a global manufacturer of secure high performance KVM (keyboard, video, and mouse) extension and switching systems, announced today that it has received U.S. Department of Defense DISA JITC DoDIN Approved Product List (APL) certification for its TLX series extenders and matrix switches.

The DoDIN APL is a single consolidated list of products that have completed cybersecurity and interoperability certification by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This certification allows all DoD component agencies to purchase and operate TLX systems over all DoD network infrastructures.

Thinklogical TLX Video Matrix Switching Solution achieved APL certification as a Closed Video Distribution System (VDS) on July 29, 2021, with tracking number 1823401. The IO Certification Memorandum is available at: https://jitc.fhu.disa.mil/tssi/cert_pdfs/Thinklogical_TLX_VMSS_5_TN1823401_Initial_21APR2021.pdf

“Thinklogical continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the DoD mission with the DoDIN APL certification of our TLX series products,” said Alexandra Cheever, president of Thinklogical. “DoD organizations rely on the DoDIN APL to ensure products are secure and interoperable to allow for seamless integration into their environments. Thinklogical is unique in the marketplace for its dedication to building solutions that meet the widest range of U.S., NATO, and allied nation certifications for use in secure, mission-critical applications.”

In addition to the DoDIN APL, Thinklogical products are accredited to the Common Criteria EAL4, NATO Information Assurance Product Catalog (NIAPC), and TEMPEST SDIP 27 Level B.

Supporting all common computer, audio visual and IT signal types and interface formats, TLX extenders and matrix switches are a high-performance, layer 1 KVM/VDS solution. Thinklogical KVM and VDS systems are unique in enabling signal isolation, restricted switching and partitioning of video and data through a single matrix switch chassis with a multi-level security architecture. This capability makes TLX the ideal signal management infrastructure for a wide variety of multi-domain, multi-classification use cases including command and control operations centers, UAS/UAV/RPA ground stations, secure VTC facilities, naval ship systems, and simulation, visualization, and training applications.
