As Chief of DISA’s Global Service Desk Governance and Technology Branch, Ms. Kimbro is responsible for the integration, deployment and sustainment of DISA’s Service Support Environment (SSE). The SSE includes both IT Service Management and Automated Contact Distro tools.
Ms. Kimbro began her federal career in 2005 at Defense Logistics Agency serving as a Regional IT Director for 6 years. She left DLA to join the Defense Enterprise Email program as the Active Directory and Security Technical Lead. For the last several years, Ms. Kimbro has performed in a variety of roles as a manager, tech advisor, and program manager for the Global Service Desk. Her current passion is DISA’s ITSM+ Program and the SSE Evolution.
Ms. Kimbro served in the US Air Force from 1997-2005. Ms. Kimbro earned a BS in Computer Information Systems in 2005 and a MA in Leadership in Public Administration in 2013. She has been married for 24 years and has two children, one in college and one in preschool.
