Profile

Jason G. Martin is the component acquisition executive for the Defense Information Systems Agency, where he conducts acquisition governance and oversight across the entire DISA acquisition portfolio. His focus is to enable programs, achieve milestones and deliver information technology capabilities to the warfighter. Martin is also the director of DISA’s Digital Capabilities and Security Center. In this role, he facilitates development of DISA’s core services and capabilities supporting DoD mission partners, as well as managing the requirements processes across the agency. His portfolio includes Cyber Security and Analytics and Joint Enterprise Services Directorates, Joint Interoperability Testing Center and the Defense Spectrum Organization. Committed to supporting the next generation of cyber defenders, he serves as the agency’s lead for academic engagement and strategic partnerships.

Previously, Martin served as the Cyber Development Directorate director, overseeing a portfolio of services including perimeter, mid-tier Joint Regional Security Stack, endpoint defensive cyber operational capabilities, cyber situational awareness and NetOps solutions, along with enterprise identity, credential and access management, software defined everything and “zero trust” solutions.

Martin also served as Services Directorate executive. In this position, he was responsible for the Cloud/Compute and Storage portfolio, as well as the operation of DISA’s Ecosystem data centers, providing DoD enterprise services to 4.5 million users. He led mission partner application cloud and data center implementation while operating and maintaining the global DISA internal network for more than 16,000 users.
