Dr. Danny Sava served in the United States Marine Corps, has 10 years of combat experience and over 22 years of experience in architecting, engineering, implementing, testing, and delivering Information Technology (IT) solutions supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). He is supportive of higher education, certifications, volunteering in support of Science, Technology, Electronics, and Math (STEM) and always being prepared for what's next technically and strategically.

Dr. Sava has four degrees including a Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology with a specialization in Project Management. He works hard to stay up to speed with technology and has proven that by obtaining and maintaining 30 certifications in IT, security, business processes, and supply chain management. In addition to his professional experience and training, he has been published several times in peer reviewed journals and magazines.

Dr. Sava’s current role is Division Vice President, Deputy General Manager and Director of Operations and Maintenance (O&M). He was crucial in writing the proposal, delivering the oral presentation, and also standing up the brand new North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II) contract. Dr. Sava played a critical role in the development of processes, policies, interviewing and hiring over 500 personnel, and the execution of this ~500 million-dollar contract. He is responsible for analyzing technical resources requiring the movement, cultivation, and manipulation of business requirements to make his team effective and efficient. He was able to use lessons learned from his five other contract transitions to make this one a success. Dr. Sava, by employing a culture of caring, controls the direction of his team to ensure skills remain relevant and mentor transformation of others help them to become competent in emerging fields as technology advances into the future.

Prior to supporting NORAD, Dr. Sava served as the Director of IT Planning, Engineering and Innovation with the United States Speial Operations Command (USSOCOM) supporting the Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) contract. He was responsible for leading a team of Information Technologist in the integration of automation for the command of approximately 76,000 Special Operators in over 40 locations around the world. As a Director of the most advanced team within USSOCOM, he delivered insight to new IT professionals, mentored eager IT professionals attempting to cross train, and built educational pathways to expedited job placement hiring new talent from the Department of Defense and commercial environments. Dr. Sava oversaw both the Infrastructure Team and the Modernization Team which was responsible for the Planning, Architecture, and Engineering for technology projects at USSOCOM.
