Brigadier General Paul H. Fredenburgh III, served as the Deputy Commander of the Joint Force Headquarters – Department of Defense Information Network from August 2019 until July 2020. In this role, he leads command and control of DODIN Operations and Defensive Cyberspace Operations – Internal Defense Measures, synchronizing DODIN defense and synthesizing global intelligence sharing in order to deter adversary attacks, and enable power projection, freedom of action, and mission assurance across all warfighting domains.
Brigadier General Fredenburgh was born in Albany, New York. He graduated from Norwich University, Northfield, Vermont in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the infantry. He has earned a Master of Arts Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval College of Command and Staff, Newport, Rhode Island and a Master of Science Degree in National Resource Strategy with a concentration in Information Operations from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces, National Defense University, Fort McNair, Washington, D.C.
