Defense Collaboration Services (DCS) is DOD’s official enterprise collaboration tool. DCS provides classified and unclassified Web conferencing and instant messaging capabilities. Global Video Service (GVS) provides a full suite of on-demand, high-quality, assured VTC capabilities for users to interact within the Unclassified, U.S. Secret and Allied Secret enclaves. Individuals can host VTC sessions with users in conference rooms or participate from individual desktops and laptops around the world. With real time presence, chat, and content sharing features available, GVS is your all-in-one solution for today’s VTC needs. DOD Secure Access File Exchange (SAFE) is a secure method of transferring large files that would normally be too large to send via email. SAFE, is available for use by common access card (CAC) users. Guests can receive files from CAC users and (only if CAC users requested files) send files to CAC users. Notification is achieved via email. DoD SAFE has an ATO and is approved for transfer of FOR OFFICAL USE ONLY (FOUO), Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and Protected Health Information (PHI) data. DoD SAFE utilizes the latest encryption transport protocols to secure files while in transit. Files uploaded into SAFE can be encrypted at rest if the sender selects the corresponding check box on the DoD SAFE site. DoD SAFE users are responsible for ensuring they encrypt FOUO, PII, and PHI data. DoD SAFE is for UNCLASSIFIED USE ONLY. Mobile Enablement Prototype (MEP) is an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) project exploring the integration of automated mobile application vetting capabilities into an industry standard DevSecOps development pipeline. The solution increases mobile deployment agility while also increasing DoDIN security by enabling mobile developers to iteratively test code vulnerabilities.
