Mr. William (Bill) Kapes is Chameleon Integrated Services Corporate Chief Technology Officer. He is a former Air Force R&D Officer with specialties in Systems Acquisition and research and development. He has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a Masters in Optical Physics and is adept at conveying complex technical issues to a non-technical audience. He has held positions in engineering, research, engineering management, program management, account management and sales. Before coming to Chameleon, Mr. Kapes was at IBM for 20 years in both Technical and Sales roles. Prior to IBM, Mr. Kapes was a Principal Engineer for Honeywell Federal Systems and responsible for the Macintosh Based WWMCCS Workstation and it's unique for the time Secure Unix OS with a Mac interface. While serving 11 years on active duty in the Air Force, he worked on projects as varied as the B-1 Bomber and systems management for the Air Force Systems Command (now AFMC). Mr. Kapes has over 42 years of experience working for and with the Federal Government primarily the Department of Defense.
