Major Nelson Lee is a Project Manager for the Mobility PMO at DISA, where he is leading up the DMCC-S Android Data-at-Rest (DAR) solution. Major Lee entered the Army following his graduation from the University of Maryland in 2002. He went onto Johns Hopkins University and earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering in 2013.
Major Lee has been in the IT industry for over 18 years supporting various government entities like US Department of Homeland Security, US Department of Defense, US Intelligence Community, as well as, major corporations to include AT&T, IBM, AWS, and General Dynamics in various roles to include software development, systems administration, network engineering, systems engineering, security engineer, solution architect, and technical management. Major Lee holds several certifications to include Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Penetration Tester (CPT), and Splunk Certified Architect.
In addition to his PM duties, Major Lee is the detachment commander for DISA Army Reserve Element. Major Lee has served in previous roles as the NETOPS Officer for the 354 Civil Affairs Brigade and 29th Infantry Division.
