PROFESSIONAL DATA: Jaime Berrios joined the military in 1982, completed training as a Strategic Microwave Systems Repairer in 1983, Instructor Training Course in 1990 at Fort Gordon, GA, Microwave Systems Supervisor Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course in 1991and Satellite/Microwave Systems Chief Advance Noncommissioned Officer Course in 1992. He attended the University of Maryland College Asian Division from 1999-2001, completed Defense Red Switch Training in 1999, Meridian SL-100 Maintenance (DSN Switch) in 2001, Interconnecting CISCO Networks and Building Scalable CISCO Network in 2002, and completed Command and Control Switching System (CCSS) Digital Small Switch (DSS) in 2003.
MILITARY SERVICE: After 22 years of Military service in the United States Army, Jaime Berrios retired as a Sergeant First Class Non-Commissioned Officer in 2003.
2005-Present Jaime Berrios is currently the DISA DMCC-S Engineering Lead, provides technical support for DMCC-TS, and DISA Mobility Liaison to the DISA DoD CIO Mobility FVEY’s Working Group His background in Secure Voice communications includes but is not limited to the Multi-Carrier Entry Point (MCEP) Secure Mobile Environment - Portable Electronic Device (SME-PED), DISA Voice over Secure IP (VoSIP), the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), Enhanced Pentagon Capability (EPC), Survival Emergency Conferencing Network (SECN), DISA White House Communications Agency (WHCA) Secure Voice Engineer Liaison, DISA Secure Voice Engineering support to the Canadian Working Group Liaison, DISA Secure Voice Engineering support to the United Kingdom Working Group Liaison, DISA Secure Voice support to the DoD CIO Senior Leader Secure Communications Modernization Working Group, DISA Secure Voice support to the Voice Intelligence Communications (IC) Voice and Video Working Group Liaison.
