Mr. Hibbs is currently the Division Chief for Cyber Development Directorate Engineering Division in DISA, which also involves the role as the Chief Engineer the Cyber Development Directorate. His role provides an overall directorate-level coordination for Cybersecurity capabilities by producing the Cyber Development Roadmap, Integrated WBS, Engineering Processes, Baseline Reviews, and Architecture Capability modeling.
Mr. Hibbs has been in DISA for over 12 years and was previously the Chief Engineer for the Cyber NetOps Division, the Chief Engineer for the Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) Division in the Infrastructure Executive (IE), and the Technical Lead and Architect for the Global Command and Control System – Joint (GCCS-J) Common Operational Picture (COP).
Prior to his employment in DISA, he was a Systems Engineer, Requirements Manager, and CMM Process Improvement Lead in the DoD Clinical Information Program Office, the AKO Deputy Program Manager, and he had a previous career maintaining, managing, and developing submarine combat systems.
His holds a BS in Computer Science and a Masters in Software Engineering from University of Maryland, a CISSP, along with Acquisition Level 3 Certification in the Information Technology, Engineering, and Program Management career fields.
