Mr. Darrell Fountain served over 20 years in the United States Army in various communications position participating in a variety of initiatives to improve and optimize communications security delivery to deployed forces worldwide.
He currently leads the Cyber Security Service Provider program management team. This team manages the provision of Cyber Security Service Provider support to the DISA Enterprise, Combatant Commands, and DoD agencies that subscribe to DISA as their cybersecurity service provider. The team provides resources to enable subordinate operational activities to monitor DISA DoDIN network activity, maintain cyber situational awareness, and to respond to cyber activity as an integral component of DoD’s Cyber Defense.
Mr. Fountain has worked as a member of the DISA team to develop and refine threat based analytic tools and processes in coordination with United States Cyber Command and JFHQ-DoDIN guidance to facilitate DCO-IDM operations. He has contributed significantly to the DCO IDM strategy effort on behalf of the Operations Center team to capture and codify goals and objectives to guide the agency’s DCO-IDM effort into the future
