Tracy Allison is Chief of the Communications Gateway Division at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Programs in his division include the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN), Department of Defense (DoD) Enterprise Travel Kit Gateway (DECTK-GW), Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) DECTK-GW, Voice Internet Service Provider (VISP), Secure Voice Gateway (SVG), Presidential and National Voice Conferencing (PNVC), Survivable Emergency Communications Network – Digitalization (SECN-DZ) and Organizational Messaging Service (OMS). Mr. Allison is interested in enterprise integration of disparate networks, enhanced end-to-end service delivery, IP flow management, advanced RF techniques, differential data security, advanced optical communications and more. Mr. Allison has over 30 years of experience in communications systems as a US Army Signal Corps soldier, a DoD civilian (for both DISA and the Army) and as a contractor on the NASA Eastern Space Test Range. Mr. Allison also spent a few years as a small business owner prior to returning to the DoD. Mr Allison attended the University of Central Florida and holds a BSEE degree in Electrical & Electronic Systems Engineering (emphasis on RF design) from Leeds Metropolitan University in the UK and has done extensive graduate work in the field of RF Communications Design and Electromagnetic Compatibility at the University of York (UK).
