Welcome to the Pacific Center for Advanced Technology Training
the University of Hawaii Community College’s advanced technology training consortium
PCATT is active in industry engagement through the statewide sector partnerships. We engage industry partners as collaborators in designing training that supports business growth, career development, and growing our region’s workforce. We ensure that PCATT participants have the necessary technical and professional skills to succeed in our ever growing economy.
While PCATT continues to provide employers with both a quality entry level workforce and opportunities to up-skill current employees, we are also moving forward in several exciting areas. We are building pathways in the key technology sub-sectors designed to provide training opportunities that build on one another, leading a participant from short-term certifications to long-term certificates to degrees through a mix of credit and non-credit courses as appropriate.
We are also looking for new ways to work across sectors, improving the ways technology intersects with other industries such as transportation, manufacturing, clean energy and the creative industries among others.
So please explore our website and see the training opportunities currently being offered and come back often as new training opportunities are added. PCATT is committed to preparing residents around the state for success in all aspects of the technology sector, driven by one simple goal: A qualified local candidate for every technology job in our state.
