SIGNAL Innovation Showcase
The SIGNAL Innovation Showcase provides the opportunity to demonstrate cutting-edge solutions in response to Problem Statements from DoD partners to government representatives and potential industry partners. Located in the Innovation Theater at Booth #2769 on the Exhibit Hall floor, the showcase provides a platform for broad exposure to government, military, and industry attendees. Solutions will be presented in the Innovation Showcase on all three days of TechNet Cyber. Presenters will have 20 minutes to brief and field Q&A.

Problem Statements
Unifying Operations
Problem Statement: DISA is looking to better understand how commercial service providers use AI to improve customer interactions at the helpdesk, better notify customers of outages, and track issues from detection to resolution. How can DISA best target and aggregate operational data sets to integrate this paradigm into DISA’s current processes to provide a more proactive user experience to DISA’s customers?
Why this is Important: DISA provides a wide range of enterprise services and tools to our mission partners. It is imperative that any issues be communicated accurately and in a timely manner and resolved as quickly as possible.
DevSecOps Transformation
Problem Statement: DISA is currently offering a suite of tools to allow internal teams and our DoD customers to adopt DevSecOps and Agile practices by enabling modern project management, software development, and IT infrastructure. Alongside the technical challenge, DISA is interested in industry best practices for moving an organization to a DevSecOps mindset. How should an organization start, structure the transformation process, and identify target programs for transition?
Why this is Important: The DevSecOps paradigm will allow DISA and our mission partners to bring capabilities to production more quickly and securely. However, we will only gain the full benefit of the toolset if the workforce understands the paradigm and if the DevSecOps mindset is integrated into our processes.
Maneuver The Domain
Problem Statement: DISA is looking for solutions to address the static nature of the enterprise network. How can DISA detect bad actors and bots and utilize deception technology to impose a cost on the adversary through interacting with false targets, providing time and space for operators to remediate the revealed or discovered vulnerability?
Why this is Important: Adversaries constantly evolve the techniques they use to attack DoD networks. To appropriately defend against these techniques, we must use state-of-the-art deception techniques that impose a cost on the adversary while allowing us to capture threat intelligence in real-time and make informed decisions faster on how to remediate and implement defensive countermeasures.
