AFCEA’s Continuing Education (CE) program is designed to support certifications related to U.S. Federal Government requirements. Several TechNet Indo-Pacific 2022 (November) sessions will be reviewed by CompTIA, GIAC and CertNexus to determine if the sessions meet continuing education requirements for certification maintenance. Sessions may also support (ISC)2, National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Project Management Institute (PMI), GAGAS, and Defense Acquisition Workforce continuing education and/or certification maintenance requirements.
For in-person sessions, formal attendance documentation is a benefit of AFCEA membership and a service provided to attendees who purchased a continuing education (CE) pass for the event. Participation in an event session qualifying for CompTIA CEUs, GIAC CPEs and/or CertNexus CECs is required. On exiting the session, get your event badge scanned so that we can document your attendance.
Check the continuing education flyer for November for updates as the program is developed.
CompTIA plans to host a three-hour mini bootcamp, “Fulfilling the Five DoD Data Decrees with CompTIA Data+: Best Practices for Making Great Decisions in the Field” on November 2, 1:30 -4:30 PM HST. The session will be streamed as well as held onsite at TechNet Indo-Pacific. The bootcamp has been approved for 1 CompTIA CEU for A+ and will also be reviewed by GIAC and CertNexus. Visit CompTIA mini-bootcamp registration for additional information and free registration (for streamed or in person attendance). Registered online and in-person attendees will be included in a random drawing to win a CompTIA exam voucher.
