Federal Identity Forum & Expo 2024

June 26-27, 2024 • Baltimore Convention Center • Baltimore, MD

Since its inception in 1995, the Federal Identity Forum & Expo (FedID) has been the cornerstone event for the U.S. federal government's engagement and collaboration with the international identity community. This year, FedID is excited to announce its concurrent scheduling with AFCEA International’s esteemed TechNet Cyber Conference and Expo, offering a unique dual-event experience. Here's why you should consider attending:

  • Collaboration at Its Core: Experience the premier forum for the U.S. federal government to collaborate with the global identity community in one location.
  • Dual-Conference Advantage: Enjoy access to both the FedID and the AFCEA TechNet Cyber conferences, with over 5,000 cybersecurity professionals attending worldwide.
  • Expert-Led Discussions: Participate in select discussions spearheaded by leaders from the DoD, DHS, DOJ, Treasury, HHS, U.S. Cyber Command, DISA and key partners in industry and academia.
  • Comprehensive Coverage: Attend sessions dedicated to federal identity topics within FedID, along with selected sessions from the TechNet Cyber conference.
  • Exclusive Access: Your FedID registration also grants you entrance to the TechNet Cyber exhibit hall, offering an expanded networking and learning opportunity.
  • Strategic Convergence: Both events are independently curated yet synchronized to provide a seamless experience, happening simultaneously at the same location.

This unique pairing of events offers an unparalleled opportunity to engage with key figures and innovations in both the identity and cybersecurity realms. Don't miss out on this chance to be part of two world-class forums, convening under one roof for an enriching and enlightening experience.

Continuing Education

Reviewing Organizations

AFCEA’s Continuing Education (CE) program is designed to support certifications related to U.S. Federal Government requirements. Some FedID 2022 sessions will be reviewed by CompTIA, GIAC and CertNexus to determine if the sessions meet continuing education requirements for certification maintenance. Sessions may also support (ISC)2, National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Project Management Institute (PMI), GAGAS, and Defense Acquisition Workforce continuing education and/or certification maintenance requirements.

We will update the continuing education flyer for the Federal Identity Forum and Exposition and the continuing education flyer for TechNet Cyber 2024 as the information becomes available.

TechNet Cyber and the Federal Identity Forum and Exposition are independently developed and hosted conferences which will unfold simultaneously and in the same venue. Participants of both events will have the privilege of attending continuing education sessions at both events.

Continuing Education Attendance Documentation

  • Formal attendance documentation is a benefit of AFCEA membership, and a service provided to attendees who purchased a continuing education (CE) pass for either event. Participation in an event session qualifying for CompTIA CEUs, GIAC CPEs and/or CertNexus CECs is required. On exiting the session, get your event badge scanned so that we can send your attendance documentation by email.
  • Those who are not current AFCEA members can join or renew at the AFCEA booth to qualify for continuing education documentation or can prepare their attendance documentation using session description and speaker bios available in event promotional material.
